The work of the "Govinda" development aid association
The association was founded on 06/07/1998 in Elchingen. In the meantime we moved to Aalen. The association is humanitarian and non-profit making and serves only this purposes. Today the association consists of 46 honorary members, 4 of which are elected into the managing committee.
It is registered under number 649 at the 'Amtsgericht Aalen'. The association lets itself be checked each year by an independent tax consultant and all three years by the finance office. We have the allowance of the local finance office to give receipts for donations for the orphanage home. All our flight expenses are not taken from the association's money.
Our principle is to give help so that people can help themselves. It's the aim to help people who cannot cope with daily life, because of their poverty and social situation. Our main objective are the Nepalese orphans and kids from the poorest families. A warm, heartily surrounding and a solid education shall help the children in getting started into a self determined and responsible life, guided by sympathy and respect for each other.
